Decadence has arrived at Bayside in a sweet way.

Sugar Factory, the kid-friendly restaurant famous for lavish and photogenic desserts, is now open at Bayside Marketplace in downtown Miami. With it comes its popular menu items – including the rainbow pancakes topped with chocolate chips and gummy bears as well as Flaming Hot Cheetos burgers – that have made it one of the most popular restaurants on Instagram.

The main dining room has seating for 156 and includes a full-service bar looking out onto Biscayne Bay. The plan is to expand the restaurant, which also serves pasta, salads and sandwiches, to 3,000 square feet of space that not only includes the dining area but also a retail shop and a confectionery shop, because who doesn’t want to take a bunch of sugar home.

“We are thrilled to welcome Sugar Factory to Bayside, adding one of the world’s favorite confectionary shops to Miam’s growing downtown neighborhood,” said owner Charissa Davidovici in a statement. “With panoramic views overlooking Miami’s beautiful Biscayne Bay, guests can find our larger-than-life goblets, over-the-top milkshakes and eye-catching flower walls for an all-around Instagrammable experience, from our dishes to our decor.”

About those milkshakes: All the favorites are here, including the epic Caramel Sugar Daddy Cheesecake Milkshake (vanilla ice cream and cheesecake pieces topped with caramel sauce, whipped cream, a slice of cheesecake, a Sugar Daddy and a rainbow lollipop, served in a chocolate covered mug). You can also order a Bacon Cheeseburger Milkshake, with strawberry ice cream topped (what else?) With a strip of bacon and a tiny cheeseburger.

The famous Sugar Factory flower wall is here for your Instagramming pleasure.

If a towering milkshake isn’t enough to soothe your sweet tooth, try the famous King Kong Sundae, which costs $ 99 but feeds 12 and includes 24 scoops of ice cream and pretty much every other sweet thing you could think of.

Grown-ups can skip the ice cream and go straight for the smoking cocktails (which can also be made without the booze). They’re endorsed by a variety of celebrities from Nick Jonas and Bruno Mars to Dwayne Johnson and Pitbull (who allegedly designed The Watermelon Patch, with Voli 305 Vodka and sour watermelon gummies).

Sugar Factory also has a restaurant on Ocean Drive in Miami Beach, with a third location due to open at the Aventura Mall sometime this spring. A fourth and smaller Sugar Factory Express is planned sometime in the future for Miami Beach’s Española Way.
