GREENVILLE – The end of Mike Krzyzewski’s coaching career is on the horizon.

At most, the legendary Duke basketball coach has six games remaining as his team enters the NCAA Tournament as a No. 2 seed in the West region. At worst, it won’t last past the weekend.

Coming off a devastating loss to Virginia Tech in the ACC Tournament championship, the Blue Devils (28-6) look to regain momentum in the first round of the NCAA Tournament Friday for a 7:10 pm ET tip against No. 15 Cal State Fullerton.

Plenty of landmines await Duke on the road to a sixth national title, but the Blue Devils are still among the favorites to make a Final Four trip to New Orleans.

His 97 tournament wins – Krzyzewski (97-30) would reach 100 NCAA tourney wins if Duke advances to the Elite Eight – is the most all-time with Roy Williams (77) and Dean Smith (65) a distant second and third.
